Saying goodbye is never easy, but saying goodbye forever is very difficult. I can still hear Vicki laughing from the other end of the corridor in college. Vicki took me through my 4 years at college and was always by my side no matter how difficult it got, she always believed and she was always right. Sleep tight, and keep laughing! Xx

It's been a while since I saw Vicki and been years since we worked together. I still remember the days well, the laughs in the kitchen at the belvedere, she taught me the cooking side of things but some how I didn't have the same passion as Vicki did, she was an awesome chef with a heart of gold, can still here her laugh yet. I still can’t get my head around this😢.. Vicki was my lecturer for 3 years! I started Elmwood back when I was 15 after I left school, Vicki had a heart of gold and a laugh that was sooo infectious, she always believed in me even when I didn’t. I remember when I fell pregnant with Kayla and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to continue with my course, she said to me “Alison I know when you put your mind to something you will finish it, I know you can do this” her words stuck with me and she always supported me. Vicki felt like more than a lecturer and always went the extra mile for me, when I was heavily pregnant she booked me in to get a foot massage and pedicure in the beauty department at college because she knew I was uncomfortable.. When I gave birth to Kayla I went to visit with her and Vicki wouldn’t let her go, she wanted to keep her🙈. After I graduated college Vicki approached me and asked if I would be interested in a part time job helping in the kitchens, I accepted.. I worked there for over a year and a half, in that time I became pregnant with my second child and even bought a flat, I remember sharing these moments with her and she was always so happy and excited for me, again when I gave birth to Charlotte we visited Vicki at college and she just adored her, after I stopped working there I made sure to visit for a meal at Christmas time every year or so and she always made a fuss over us. You will be so badly missed Vicki ❤️

It’s been a very long time since I knew her but still somehow this news breaks my heart.. this world will definitely be poorer without her ❤️

I had the pleasure of working with Vicki for some community fundraising events. Also met up with her at Elmwood events. Always so bubbly, positive and happy to help make things happen. Very sad loss for her family and all who knew her. In my thoughts and prayers xx

I first met vicki whilst working at the belevedere 20 years ago. Her laugh would roll through the kitchen and make other staff laugh and always fed me cake at the end of our shifts. Later we knew each other as football mums and days out with Nathan and Leon. Boys were her centre. Sleep tight vicki xx

I have lots of great memories of Vicki, met her in 1994 when the pubs were good. Then when we were both at college we often sat next to each other on the bus, we done nothing but giggle about the nonsense of the previous weekend. Time flies, people move away, but I’ll never forget what a lovely lassie she was. Genuine, down to earth and anything but moody. Taken far too soon doll! I hope you’re having a drink and a boogie. I will always remember your infectious laugh Vicki. The pure mayhem we would cause at East Fife Player of the year and whenever we were out on the town. Calling me Paul’s second wife. Meeting your to gorgeous boys Leon and Nathan and watching them grow from wee boys to beautiful thoughtful young men. Will always think of you and your laugh. Where do I start..... I’ve been friends with Vicki for 30+ years. A lot of my 1st’s were with vik..... we were always together, family holidays, weddings, had our kids together who grew up together.... she was truly a great friend and we were always there for one another right until the end 😥 my heart is so broken I often wonder how it continues to beat some days. I miss you so much..... love you forever. Until we meet again my gorgeous friend ❤️ Xx

Ive known vicki and her family, many years, she was a genuinely lovely lady,with an infectious laugh, always had a smile, she truly was a lovely person, and my thoughts go out to her sons, and her mum and all her family, and her special friend cheryl, she will never be forgotten, she will live on in all their hearts, they will all have their special memories of her, god bless vicki, gone but never forgotten xx❤️❤️❤️❤️
